Superstitcher (www.superstitcher.com)
the internet retail company today announced that it has slashed postage &
packaging charges to a flat rate of £1 for orders under £25.
They maintain their free postage for orders over £25.
Commenting on this development, Ruth Kirby (Managing Director)
said: “We are fed up with internet
retailers over-charging for postage. It
simply erodes the benefit (discount off RRP) that you’re getting from buying on
the web. A lot of companies charge
variable postage rates depending on the weight of the items which means that
shoppers only know what they’re going to pay when they get to checkout.
Our low flat rate charges (and free postage over £25) mean
that shoppers always know exactly what their order will cost.”
Superstitcher is maintaining it’s flat rate international
postage charge and has stated that this is under review as they try to identify
further benefits for their international customers.
