The Walt Disney Company is one of the world's best-known media and
entertainment companies founded in 1923 by brothers Walt and Roy Disney.
Winnie-the-Pooh is a character created by the writer AA Milne who first
appeared in the book "Winnie-the-Pooh" in 1926. The Pooh Bear books are
illustrated by EH Shepard and these illustrations, through the Walt Disney
Company, have become famous franchises worldwide.
Cross Stitch Designs
Winne the Pooh and his gang of friends - Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit,
Lumpy, Kanga, Roo - translate beautifully into cross stitch designs either in
the form of birth samplers, number or alphabet samplers or as illustrations for
framing and displaying.
There are a number if licences to adapt the Winnie the Pooh illustrations into
cross stitch designs which are held by several companies including DMC, Coats
Crafts and Royal Paris.
