Background
Gakonga is a Kenyan born artist who was brought up living in the tribes of
Kikuyu, Maasai and Swahili in Kenya. It was at this stage that he first
began to paint, inspired by the colours, dance and music, letting his
paintbrush capture the vibrancy of his culture.
